Stamptacular #19: 3-2-1 challenge.


This week's challenge is to include 3 brads, 2 patterned papers and 1 flower on your card. I decided to make a card for a teenager as I got some stamped images from a dear friend yesterday which would fit perfectly. Totally adore those GreetingFarm stamps!

So, I have the stamped image (from GreetingFarm), 3 brads (the crown on her head, the hert/wings and the jumbo black one in the middle of my 1 and only flower on the card. The 2 patterned papers are from Glitz and DCWV.

2S4Y Kazan's Sketch #32

Here is my card for this week's sketch over at 2S4Y:

The image is from a vintage booklet from CraftySecrets and papers are from MME LaundryLine and an old songbook. The ornaments on the patterned paper have lots of sparkles on them, and I have added stickles around the image. The roses are from Papirgleder, and the stems are TimHoltz grungeboard painted with distress inks (peeled paint).

MagnoliaDownUnder #19

I recently found this Magnolia challenge blog and finally decided to make my first enter. This time the challenge is to make a winterly card, so I had to rediscover my christmas-stamps from a box on the top-shelf... We are in the middle/end of summer here in Norway and I am still waiting for my new summer-stamps from Magnolia, so I haven't got that all winterly feeling yet, but here is my card:

I bought this stamp last year, but this is the first time I'm using it. I have painted with distress inks as usual, both images are from Magnolia. Papers are MelissaFrances (Ibelieve) and I have also used a page from an old book. Flowers from Prima. Letters, and snowcrystals cut with QK and the pine branches cut with McGill. All edges are distressed and I have used a frame-stamp from Prima BuildAFrame to frame the image (lots of 'frames' there... l.o.l.).

I had to make a birthday card to a girl in my daughters kindergarden, so the images were pre-decided by my daughter (!), and she also chose the colours. So here is our joint contribution:

I have painted Tilda and the cupcake with distress inks. Papers are from Imaginisce and flowers from Panduro.

Stamptacular #18 Child'sPlay

This weeks challenge is to make a card for a child. I have made a card for my friends son who turned 2 the other day.

I have used Magnolia's Edwin with cap and painted him with distress inks. The background is also from Magnolia (got them from a dear friend - 'thank you!' Papers are from OctoberAfternoon and the felt-car is from Panduro.

JustMagnolia #16 Distressing

The challenge this week is to use distressing. I have altered a box of chocolate hearts for a friend who's having a difficult time at the moment. Here is the box:

I have painted the images (all Magnolia) with distress inks, and all the edges are distressed. Papers from MyMind'sEye. The letters from Adornit on front says 'Because I care about you'. The stamped text on the inside of the box says ' A hug is like a handshake from the heart.

Sukkersøtt Jubileumsutfordring #3

Oppgaven er : Å lage ditt fineste kort, som definerer din stil som kortlager eller viser noe du har dilla på for øyeblikket. og det skulle jo være enkelt i seg selv, det, hvis en da ikke har mange diller og hopper fra stiltype til stiltype stadig vekk... Valgets kval, og det jeg måtte ha med var jo Magnolia-motiv, side fra en gammel bibel, blonder og bånd, roser og ett av favoritt mønsterpapirene mine. Så her er resultatet:

Baby-Edwin er malt med distresser, teksten er skrevet ut på PC'en og mønsterpapiret er fra Webster'sPaiges. Inne i den store blomster henger den søteste lille charmsen - det er en kopp som det står 'Baby' på. Den fant jeg i en kunstner/hobbyforretning i Pilestredet i Oslo.

Sukkersøtt Jubileumsutfordring #2

Sukkersøtt feirer seg selv med 1-års dagen denne helgen, og har gitt oss flere oppgaver og masse godbiter å vinne i premier. Denne oppgaven er å lage et minimalistisk kort med max 2 mønsterpapirer, max 2 stempeltrykk og max 2 pynteting. Her er mitt minimalistiske kort:

Jeg har brukt 1 mønsterpapir fra Webster'sPaiges (de er jo så lekre i seg selv, at det holder med 1), ett stempeltrykk (Gratulerer... fra NorskStempelblad), og 2 pynteting ( blondebånd og fugl fra TimHoltz grungeboard malt med distresser).

2S4Y Laura's Sketch 31

Great sketch to follow over at 2S4Y this week, just had to play along. Here is my card:

Papers are from Glitz and chipboard-embellishments from DCWV Rockstar. The butterfly are a TomHoltz grungeboard, painted with distress inks and stickles. I have also added photo-corners cut out with my Sillh., to make the butterfly more 'alive'.

JustMagnolia #15 Sketch

This weeks challenge is to follow a sketch, one of my fav Magnolia-images is used for my contribution this time.

Tilda is coloured with distress inks as usual (and now I see I have forgotten to make her cheeks blush... sorry). Papers are all from OctoberAfternoon (love those paper-lines!). This card is made for my friends daughter, as you can see, turning 5 years this summer.

JustMagnolia #14 Buttons

Fun challenge, as a have quite a few buttons, but rarely use them (...but I plan to use them when I buy them:-) ). Here is my card, using a Magnolia-image and a button:

Love this sassy and all wrapped-up and ready-to-go cupcake from Magnolia. Coloured with distress inks as usual, and the heartsprinkles are turned into silversprinkles. All the papers are from MyMind'sEye. Big letters cut with my Squeeze (abigail classic) and small letters are from Adornit.

Stamptacular Bonus Fun "Build-a-card"

I had such fun creating this card, bloghopping along all 10 DT-members, all with a new element to put on to finally make a complete card. And here is my card:

Motiv is Magnolia (the flowers have stickles on them, although it's difficult to see), papers are all from MyMind'sEye. The stamped texts says "For my friend" and "You are special" ( from NorskStempelblad).

Stamptacular #15 SketchChallenge

As the headline says it's a sketch this week. I got 2 new stamps in my mailbox the other day and had to use one of them in this challenge.

The motif is Draco the Dragon from the WiffOfJoy MedievelCollection. Found it difficult to colour him, but maybe it will be easier the second or third or fourth time.... Papers are all from MME.

Just Magnolia #13 Mina's Sketch

Here is my card following Mina's Sketch this week.

I have used a little Tilda holding a flower, painted with distress inks. Papers from Imaginisce and an old book a have torn apart. The text says "Have a nice day" and is from Norsk Stempelblad. Roses from Papirgleder.

2S4Y Kazan's Sketch #30

Great sketch again over at 2S4Y, so I made another monster-card following that sketch.

Those OctoberAfternoon monsters are soooo cuuute! I cut them out from a patterned paper in the NightLife-series. All papers are OA, alpha's are from Adornit and the stars are cut with my Sillh.

Monsters Inc.

Noen monster-kort ble ferdig i går kveld. Elsker disse monstrene, som er klippet ut fra OctoberAfternoon sin papirserie NightLife. Har brukt papirer fra ulike OA-serier på kortene, fordelen er at de fleste seriene hos OA kan kombineres med hverandre - de er lekne og barnslige og passe vimsete, og så er det masse friske farger og mønstre.

Har brukt Sillh. min flittig også, både slide'n og de ulike stjernene er kuttet ut med maskin.

Sketch Saturday #58

Here is my card for this week's sketch over at SS. It was optional to use red, white and blue but I chose not to be bound by those colours.

I have used Tilda as ballerina, painted with distress inks. She is sitting on a pre-cut letter from BasicGrey. Patterned paper from Panduro, and I have also used a side from an old music-book.

Sukkersøt Sommer #1 Tema sommer kort nr. 2

Her er mitt kort nr. 2 i Sukkersøtt sin første utfordring i juli. Tema er fortsatt "sommer" og nå ble det en badende Tilda som ble valgt som motiv:

Motivet fikk jeg i blogcandyen jeg vant hos Marianne for litt siden, og jeg har malt det med distresser. Papirer fra OctoberAfternoon og blomster fra Prima. Har brukt QK Abigail på de store bokstavene og klistrealfaene er fra Adornit.

Her er mitt kort, som ooooser av sommer, synes jeg selv i allefall... Grønn skog og store jordbær - det er sommer for meg!

I tillegg har jeg brukt friske farger, og en liten (for noen forhatt) snegle har sneket seg med. Tilda er malt med distresser, bregner og jordbær fra Sillh., papir fra OctoberAfternoon.

Har brukt papirer fra OA, og uglen er QK-dies. Blomstene og skyen er kuttet med Sillh. Bokstav-klistremerkene er fra Adornit.

Litt nytt fra meg...

... i varmen. Puh - hobbykroken min er det varmeste stedet i huset å oppholde seg om ettermiddagen/kvelden, så dette blir et kort innlegg. Ville bare legge ut 2 nye vintage-kort. Jeg har endelig fått vært i et antikvariat og fått tak i noen gamle bøker, så det var artig å endelig få brukt "genuine" boksider på et prosjekt. Det er det blå kortet som har fått en bokside fra en gammel salmebok på seg...

JustMagnolia #10 Summer

'Make a card inspired by summer' is the challenge this week. Summer to me is strawberries, so my card needed to have a strawberry on it.

Tilda is having the pleasure of sitting on a giant strawberry. The strawberry and the scalloped circle are both cut out with my Sillh. The bees are Magnolia. The green paper is from BG, but the red, checked paper I don't know.
